With effective megapixels raised to 17m and no low-pass filter to get in the way, the sensor works more effectively with the lens than ever to deliver incredible resolution from a compact camera.

The LEICA DC lens integrated with the LUMIX LX100 II boasts a wide F1.7 aperture at the wide-angle end and F2.8 at the telephoto end for natural-looking bokeh, and a allowing a high shutter speed for effective low-light photography. The versatile focal range allows you to take many types of photographs, from 24mm equ. at wide-angle for dynamic landscapes to 75mm equ. for artistic portraits. Together, the lens and large sensor deliver outstanding image quality, while the compact body makes the LUMIX LX100 II easy to carry and use.

The sensor of the LUMIX LX100 II supports multiple aspect ratios. A dedicated switch on the lens barrel allows you to switch intuitively between aspect ratios (4:3, 3:2, and 16:9) and enjoy composing shots with complete freedom.

The aperture ring is turned with the left hand, the shutter speed dial with the right. When you point the camera and look through the viewfinder, your right hand naturally finds the exposure compensation dial.

Seeming to follow your intention every time you set up a shot, the LUMIX LX100 II interacts with you in a way that make sense and makes photography more satisfying. Further, you can set the function of the control ring on the lens barrel to either zoom or focus.

L. Monochrome D is a new monochrome mode in Photo Style that features even finer gradations. Along with Monochrome and L. In addition, each of these modes can be combined with Grain Effect at Low, Standard, or High level.
