Sony E55-210mm f4.5-6.3 OSS Lens - Black

The Sony 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS Lens is a versatile alloy finished telephoto zoom lens for your NEX camera that gives the equivalent of 82.5-315mm focal length on a 35mm camera.

The 3.8x zoom range of this lens gives you great scope for bringing in distant details and so makes it ideal for sports and wildlife enthusiasts. To complement the long zoom, this lens includes Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation. Both this and the fully internal autofocus act virtually silently during operation so that this lens is also ideal for movie recording. During autofocusing the focus ring does not move, only movable by hand; when this is done the focus is manually overridden.

The lens’s optical construction includes two ED (Extra Low Dispersion) and two aspherical elements, ensuring absolute sharpness right through the zoom range. Also, for pleasing softness to areas that are out-of-focus, a 7-blade rounded iris is included.
